Obituary for June Mitsuko Tamura

JUNE MITSUKO TAMURA

 

A memorial service for June Mitsuko Tamura will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00AM at Cerritos Baptist Church, 11947 Del Amo Blvd., Cerritos, CA, with Pastor Barry Deguchi officiating.  Family requests Casual or Aloha attire. 

Mrs. June Tamura was 77 years-old upon her passing on March 11, 2015 in La Palma, CA.  She passed peacefully due to complications with her battle with acute leukemia.   She was born June Mitsuko Ideta in Maui, HI to Nisei parents and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. 

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Tamura; children, Tracy (Richard) Tamaki and Darrin (Jaime) Tamura; five grandchildren; sisters, Clara (Albert) Shota and Joan (Charlie) Shimizu; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law in Hawaii and California; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
