Funeral services for Eiko Evelyn Miya 84-year-old Santa Ana born Nisei, who passed away on December 14, 2015 after an illness, will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11:30 am at the Venice Santa Monica Free Methodist Church, 4871 Centinela Avenue, Los Angeles, under the direction of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary (add’l parking will be available at the Venice Japanese Community Center, 12448 Braddock Drive, Los Angeles). She is pre-deceased by her husband, Tomio Miya and son, Scott Tomio Miya, and is survived by her daughter, Janice (Denver) McClellan; son, Kris (Amanda) Miya; grandchildren, Rachel (Forrest) Toor of Yokosuka, Japan, Scott McClellan and Conner Miya; sister, Miki (Joe) Uyeda; sisters-in-law, Tomiye Matsumiya and Yoko Miya; and many nieces and nephews.
