Obituary for Ralph Katsumi Tamura

RALPH “Sluggo” KATSUMI TAMURA

 

A memorial service for Ralph “Sluggo” Katsumi Tamura will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11:00AM at Cerritos Baptist Church, 11947 Del Amo Blvd., Cerritos, CA, with Pastor Gary Tawa officiating.  Family requests Casual or Aloha attire. Mr. Ralph Tamura was 79 years-old upon his passing on February 3, 2017 in Cerritos, CA. 

He passed peacefully in his sleep.  He was born in Lahaina, Maui to Issei parents and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. 

He is survived by his children, Tracy (Richard) Tamaki and Darrin (Jaime) Tamura; five grandchildren; brother, Ritsuo Tamura; sister, Meiko Kinoshita; sisters-in-law in Hawaii and California; also, survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Note: Flower orders for Ralph Katsumi Tamura must have been made at least 48 hours before the service time.
