Obituary for Shigeru Mitsuhashi

 

A funeral service for Shigeru Mitsuhashi, 90 year-old, Veteran of Korean Conflict, Oakland, CA born Nisei who passed away on May 1, 2017 in Torrance, will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2:00PM at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena.

He is survived by his wife, Yoshiko Mitsuhashi; children, Shirley (Ross) Chessman, Irene (Eric Ward) Mitsuhashi, and Ken Mitsuhashi; grandchildren, Samantha and Kyle Chessman, Oliver and Sachi Ward, Alexis and Noah Mitsuhashi; sister-in-law, Nobuko (Masato) Akahoshi; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives in the US and Japan
