Obituary for Goichi Fujinaka

GOICHI FUJINAKA

 

A private funeral service for Goichi Fujinaka, 80 year-old Vinton, Texas born Nisei and Veteran of the Korean Conflict, who passed away on July 29, 2009 in Anaheim was held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. John Iwohara of Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.


He is survived by his wife, Fusako Fujinaka; daughter Shirley (Kenji Maeda) Fujinaka; grandson, Albert Yuhki Maeda; brother, John Junichi (Tsuneko) Fujinaka; sister, Marilyn Yukiko Iwakoshi; nieces, Katherine (Frank) Samhammer and Christine Iwakoshi; also survived by other relatives.

Note: Flower orders for Goichi Fujinaka must have been made at least 48 hours before the service time.
