Obituary for George Kato

A visitation and funeral mass for George Kato, 85 year-old, Tochigi, Japan born Issei, who passed away on December 4, 2017 in Cerritos, will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 9:30AM and 10:00AM respectively at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Center, 222 S. Hewitt St., LA.

He is survived by his children, Eugene (Jima) and Mark (Christina) Kato; grandchildren; Reiko, Kyle, Gavin, Keira, Kelsie and Kenna Kato; sister Marie (James) Yoshinaga; nieces, Naomi (Dr. Lester) Padilla and Yumi (Dr. Donald) Pick; also survived by other relatives in the United States and in Japan.
