Obituary for Thomas Masamoto Shigemitsu

SHIGEMITSU,Thomas Masamoto (96) peacefully passed away on October 20, 2008 in Los Angeles.  He is survived by his sons, Allan (Nancy), Neal, and Thomas (Judith) Shigemitsu; 11 grand-children and 8 great-grand children; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Shigemitsu; brother-in-law, Shiro Miota of Hawaii; sisters-in-law, Edna (Bob) Ige, and Bertha Tanda, both of Hawaii; pre-deceased, by his son, Herbert Shigemitsu and wife, Doris Shigemitsu; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

 

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA with Rimban George Matsubayashi of Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
