Obituary for Makiye Takano

Makiye Takano (90), passed away on March 3, 2010 in Los Angeles.  She is survived by her sons, Richard (Teri), and Fred (Denise) Takano the former of Oregon; daughter, Pearl (Orian) Tanaka; brothers, Yoshio (Emi), Stanley (Nancy), and Tatsu (Vivian) Sugino the first two of Hawaii; sister, Marge (Paul) Tarumoto; sisters-in-law, Suzan and Marilyn Sugino both of Hawaii, and Chieko Shimoda; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at the Grace Chapel of Inglewood Park Cemetery with Rev. Jim Miyabe from Venice Santa Monica Free Methodist Church officiating.  

Note: Flower orders for Makiye Takano must have been made at least 48 hours before the service time.
