Obituary for Akira Kiyohara

KIYOHARA, AKIRA (81) veteran of Korean War, passed away on November 12, 2010 in Los Angeles.  He is survived by his wife, Ruby Kiyohara; sons, Keith (Majken) and Kerry (Mimy) Kiyohara the latter of Beijing, China; daughter, Tammy (Dale) Matsubara; grandchildren, Kendall,Kalani, Kiana and Trent Kiyohara; siblings, Tak (Aiko), Lefty, Ron Kiyohara andMary (Lucky) Yamaga; brother-in law, Roy (Terry) Nakawatase; sisters-in-law, Sachiko, Betty and Kaz Nakawatase; also survived by many nieces, nephews andother relatives.

 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 10:00AM at Senshin Buddhist Temple, 1311 W. 37th St., LA, CA.  Family requests that flowers be omitted.
