Obituary for Marie Toshiko Sakamoto

MARIE TOSHIKO SAKAMOTO

 

A private funeral service for Marie Toshiko Sakamoto, 84 year-old, Toledo, Ohio born Nisei, who passed away on January 16, 2011 in Santa Monica was held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Fumiaki Usuki from West LA Buddhist Temple officiating. 

 

She is survived by her sister, Teruko (Don) Morinaka; brother, Hiroto Kawanishi of Japan; nephew, Alan (Kelly) Sakoi of San Diego; niece, Sharon Iida of Sacramento; cousins, Helen Hiyoshida and Sam (Tamiko) Hada; also survived by many other relatives.
