Obituary for Harumasa Kariya

KARIYA, HARUMASA (73) passed away on February 20, 2012 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Yoshiko Kariya; children, Emily Kumiko Kariya, Ena Misaki (Jeff) Cohen and Janet Waka Kariya; granddaughter, Molly Kimiko Cohen; siblings, Yoshihisa (Sawako), Isao (Fusako) and Mitsuhiro (Sayoko) Kariya, Ikuko Sarai, and Masako (Yoshiji) Ohmae, the latter 4 of Japan; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in U.S. and Japan.

 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 12371 Braddock Drive., Culver City, CA. Additional parking will be available at the Venice Japanese Community Center, 12447 Braddock Dr., LA, CA.
