Obituary for Mal Furuya

FURUYA, Mal (84), Korean Conflict Veteran, peacefully passed away on January 25, 2013 in Los Angeles. Beloved husband, father and grandfather is survived by his wife, Irene Furuya; children, Lynne (Frank) Kennedy, Lani (Tim) Jue, Michelle Ota and Derek Hayashi; grandchildren, Vincent, Garrett and Alyssa Kennedy and Ryan and Kristen Jue; sister, Em Kuromiya; brother-in-law, Eddie (Naomi) Endo and sister-in-law, Cary (Kaz) Iwai; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
 
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 11:00AM at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles, CA, with Pastor Cory Ishida from Evergreen Baptist Church of San Gabriel Valley officiating.
 
Family requests casual attire and flowers be omitted.
