Obituary for Koju Terada
Rev. Koju Terada, a retired minister of the Gardena Buddhist Church and long-time resident of Gardena, passed away at the age of 90 on May 16, 2013. He faithfully served the Buddhist ministry for 77 years. He is survived by his wife, Yukiye Terada; children, Keiju Terada, Dr. Seiju (Dr. Chizuko) Terada, and Noriko (Seichi) Sasaki; grandsons, Kenju and Taiju Terada, and Yasuyuki and Seiji Sasaki; sister-in-law, Harue Okura of Japan; nephew, Ryosho Terada of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives in Japan.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 2:00PM under the auspices of the Buddhist Churches of America and Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena.
