Obituary for Noboru Ikuta

IKUTA, NOBORU (91)  veteran of WWII 442nd R.C.T.,“I” Company, peacefully passed away on February 25, 2009 in Los Angeles.  He is survived by his wife, Rose Chiyeko Ikuta; daughter, Elaine (Jerry) Tominaga; son, Ed (Sandra) Ikuta; grandchildren, Kimberly, Kevin and Kris Tominaga, and Lillian Ikuta; sister, Tomiko Nakabara; brother-in-law, Sam (Sai) Ushio from NE; sister-in-law, Irene (Bill) Koseki from NV; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 11:00AM at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., LA, CA with Rev. Gail Nakamura Messner from West LA United Methodist Church officiating. Family requests that flowers be omitted. 
Note: Flower orders for the service of Noboru Ikuta have been requested to be omitted.
