A graveside memorial service for Reiko Bowen, 82 year-old, Hyogo-Ken, Japan born Nisei, who passed away on August 23, 2013 in Diamond Bar will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11:00AM at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Gate 1, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier with Bishop Tiasen Miyata from Koyasan Buddhist Temple officiating. She is survived by her children, William (Karen) Culver and Cleo Taeko Staley; step daughter, Deanna (Wendell) Tolman of Denvor, CO; brothers, Kusuo Miyawaki and Tamotsu Miyawaki, the later from Japan;  sister, Hamako Yamamoto from Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
