Obituary for Yayoi Maruyama

MARUYAMA, YAYOI (89) peacefully passed away on March 4, 2009 in Marina Del Rey. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Shimada (Don) Wamre of Nevada, Lillian Yuriko (Robert) Ikeda and Jo Ann Chieko Maruyama; grandchildren, Sheri Shimada (Malcolm) Weiss, Greg Shimada and Lisa Ikeda; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Ryden Weiss; sister, Tomie Uetake of Tokyo, Japan; brothers, Hiroshi (Sachiko) Isoda and Mikio (Tazuko) Wakatsuki both from Japan; sisters-in-law, Sumiye Maruyama of Manteca, CA and Grace Maruyama; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

 

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA with Rev. Yoshimitsu Tomizawa from Tenrikyo Honrikuto Church officiating.
