Obituary for Taro Fukushima

Retired nurseryman Taro Fukushima (93) passed away on November 13, 2013 in Rolling Hills Estates, CA. He made a living from flowers – first as a rose and carnation grower in Richmond, and later as a wholesaler of bouquets and arrangements for southern California grocery chains. An entrepreneur at heart, he was always working on his next big idea.

He is survived by his wife, Miwako Fukushima; daughter Rhoda (Loren) Madson; son Ron (Akemi) Fukushima; granddaughters Lauren and Dana Otera and Kate Fukushima; sisters-in law Kazuko (Mitsuo) Murakami and Betty Tanaka; brother-in-law Frank (Edith) Tanaka; several nieces and nephews.

 
Private services will be held.
