A funeral service for Atsuko Matsumura, 83 year-old, Kumamoto, Japan born Issei, who passed away on January 26, 2014 in Sylmar, CA, will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 E. 3rd St. L.A. (213) 749-1449 www.kubotanikkeimortuary.com

She is survived by her husband, Hosaku Matsumura; children, Hiroyuki (Rose) Matsumura, Yuko (Hitoshi) Uchino of Japan, and Yoshiko (Kazuyoshi) Iwamoto; eight grandchildren; two siblings; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in the US and Japan.
