Obituary for Anna Taka

TAKA, Anna (92), passed away on November 29, 2014 in Santa Monica.  She is survived by her children, Jo Ann (Brian) Kaba, Caryn (Clyde) Fugami, Gary (Karen) Taka, and Barbara (Jamal) Serhal; grandchildren, Keri (Jerod) Dien, Kaycee Kaba, Allison and John Taka, and Yasmeen Serhal; siblings, Hana Kishiyama, Ichio Shishido, Tomiye Hatanaka; brother-in-law, Kei Wada; sister-in-law, Kay Shishido; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 11:00AM at Venice Santa Monica Free Methodist Church, 4871 S. Centinela Ave., LA. In honor of Anna’s memory, family would like to extend an invitation for guests to wear purple.
